I am happy to report that my iPhone Ringtone article hit the front page of Digg yesterday!
Most articles/reviews that we submit to Digg are planned out well in advance and a lot of time is taken to write them. With this particular article, there was about a two hour timespan where I A) came up with the idea then B) wrote the entire article and got screen shots. This is by far the fastest I have ever produced an article from start to finish, and thus, was really surprised that this article made the front page.
The article was only one page long, so traffic numbers weren’t through the roof like other Diggs. Even so, we received about 7x as much uniques as we normally do on an article/review day
