Bla.st is a new site coined as “the free visual card directory”. Bla.st has only been online for 6 months but has already brought in over 55,000 unique visitors to their site. The purpose and reasoning behind Bla.st is that it is a free advertising community. When you join as a member, you can then upload your virtual business card. Bla.st welcomes all types of advertising, from personal blogs to business and non-profit organization. Once your card has been uploaded, it is then added to the wall of cards for free. Advertisers *that’s us* can increase our card position on the site by paying a daily fee. As of writing, it only costs $.02 per day to have your card on the front page for everybody to see. I joined last night and posted this blog on the front page at a rate of $.29 per day. I currently hold the 24th position. Just for reference, the #1 position would cost you $5.01 right now.
