Blockbuster Total Access

null

I recently signed up for Blockbuster’s Total Access program ( One Month Free Coupon Code ). The program is very similar to Netflix. Once registered, you can go online and add DVDs to your queue and they will be shipped in the order that you desire.

You are able to receive up to three movies at a time. Blockbuster has the advantage over Netflix in the fact that you can return movies directly to your local store and the next one will be sent from your queue. With Netflix, you must ship the movie(s) back and wait until they are received before the next one(s) will be sent.

I have received three movies thus far: Rocky Balboa, Happy Feet and Turistas. I am planning to do mini movie reviews on each DVD that I receive. Look for the mini review of Happy Feet later this evening :)

  1. Leo Said,

This is something I would consider if I didn’t have 2 Blockbuster’s within a stones throw of my place :)

  2. Andrea Said,

Blockbuster does BLOW! Too many times to ignore, the movies at the top of my queue listed as available were not the ones shipped.

WARNING: If you cancel your membership, wait until a few days before your next billing date. My account was paid until July 14th. I cancelled mid-cycle on June 26th. Even though my accound was paid, I received NO movies for the remaining 3 weeks, and Blockbuster refused to refund the 3 weeks I was without service.

I will NEVER return to Blockbuster. Go with Netflixs.

  3. Shawn Knight Said,

    Doh, thats too bad…

So far, I haven’t had any issues with Blockbuster. Movies have arrived on time and for the most part, in the order I asked for. And, all of the movies shipped were the correct ones.

If I do run into any issues, I will certainly give Netflix a try :)
