I was finally able to get in touch with someone at the local cable company that seemed to know what the hell they were doing. I explained the situation from yesterday and the lady waived the install fee ($100), awesome! My appointment is scheduled for Saturday so hopefully everything will go smoothly and I will have a fast 5 mbps connection and virtually every digital channel they offer
