I was talking to my dad earlier today and somehow we got on the topic of camping. This got me thinking back to the last time I went camping, so I decided to check back to my photo archives and share some pics with you all.
Our friend Stephanie was leaving for the summer (April 2006) to study abroad, so we decided to throw her a “going away” camping trip. Molly decided to go with a Hawaiian theme for the “party”.
Beforehand, we stopped by the Rebel Barn and loaded up on some adult beverages. Now we have the ingredients for a memorable camping trip!
Molly’s dad cooked us one heck of a dinner! This was perhaps the best steak I have ever had that wasn’t from a restaurant (Saltgrass in Houston, TX = best steaks EVER!).
Molly has a small pond behind her house on “the farm” so we took a quick spin around in this paddle boat thingy. All was well until I felt something on my arm. It was pitch dark so I couldn’t really see what it was… until a minute or two later… spider!! eek!!
We finally made it out to the camp grounds and decided to goof around a bit. This isn’t exactly what I’d call a fair race… poor Adam lol.
