Of course, getting invited to those “invite only” parties is up to you hehe…

AGLOCO,

Agloco was billed as the next All Advantage, which was a company that emerged about seven years ago that paid users to surf the internet using their Viewbar, which was a simple toolbar that displayed ads. Users were paid per hour for using the Viewbar and were also paid for users that they referred to the program.
I was very excited when I heard about Agloco, as it was founded by some of the original All Advantage members. I used All Advantage way back when and made several hundred dollars during that time, so I anticipated making even more this time around.
Unfortunately, things would not work out so well this time for the end users. I received the following e-mail from Agloco just a few days ago.
“Dear Shawn,
We would like to update you on the status of AGLOCO’s operations. We continue to believe in the AGLOCO concept, but our revenue is currently not sufficient to give Members a meaningful distribution. And though there are increases in membership, the resulting revenue is not enough to support operating costs. As a development team we are unable to continue to use our savings to fund the operations. If any Member would like to pursue continuing the operations of AGLOCO, you may contact us at agloco1@live.com .”
This is such a shame, as many people were really getting into Agloco but I guess their business model just wasn’t up to spec. Agloco failed to turn a profit and once they released their payment plan to its members (a payout over 10 years, yeah, right!), the program was all but officially dead.
Below are my final Agloco stats.

As with many things in life, not all ventures pan out as you would like, but that is certainly no reason to pack up and quit. Those interested in making money online still have several great options, such as TTZ Media and DealDotCom, so hey, what are you waiting for?!
I was doing some website work yesterday when out of nowhere, I thought of a great idea for a new website name. I headed over to my domain registration site of choice, Dotster.com and logged into my account. When I logged in, I notice something highlighted in red: the expiration date for my tech site, OCIA.net!
The domain name was set to expire in just five days and I was not sent any kind of warning about it; that is pretty scary! Now, whether or not they would have sent me an email in the coming days is unknown, but I certainly didn’t feel too great about the lack of notice and promptly extended my registration for another year. I am terrible when it comes to remembering things like this, so if you are anything like me, be sure to keep a close eye on your domains and know when they are scheduled to expire. I can only imagine the nightmare I would have had to face if someone snatched the domain from me!
As the end of the year draws near, this is the time that I evaluate long-term advertising over at my tech site, OCIA.net. In the past, I have just relied on interested parties to come to me to start discussions, but I thought it would be a nice change of pace to advertise that I have advertising available lol.
If you run a website or blog and are looking to reel in some new traffic, feel free to contact me directly (check the About Us page for contact info.) and we can discuss rates. I offer 125×125 ads as well as text link ads at a very reasonable price.
I hope to hear from some of you very soon!

TTZ Media Network has just launched their affiliate program, so now users of the network can earn 10% on the money that their referred sites make for a full year.
So, what is TTZ Media?
TTZ Media is an advertising network run by famous blogger John Chow. John started this program a few years ago as a private network that originally only accepted tech-based websites that brought in a lot of traffic each month. Now, TTZ Media has been expanded to include a wide array of sites, including blogs!
How does TTZ Media work?
Signing up for the program is easy. Simply click here, which will take you to the affiliate sign-up page. Fill out the form then click submit. Granted that your site meets the requirements (Your own domain name, site must be in English, high quality content, updated frequently), you shouldn’t have any issues being accepted and well on your way to earning some extra online income.
Is it worth the hassle?
In a single word, YES! I signed up with TTZ Media back in January of this year and was instantly surprised at how well the ads did on my tech site. Even with the old website design, I made more money in February than I had the entire previous year from the site. In July, we redesigned the entire site with a strategic ad layout. Since then, TTZ Media has increased exponentially each month.
Many people ask me which advertising program I recommend. Of the five difference sources I use, TTZ Media outperforms all others by far and accounted for nearly 65% of the total income last month.
With the recent slap in the face from Google, a lot of people are looking for alternative money-makers and TTZ Media should be at the top of your list if you are serious about making money online.

I was randomly selected as a winner in John Chow’s RSS by Email Contest and won a $25 Barnes & Noble Gift Card! The gift card was donated by Shaun Carter, so much thanks to you as well as John for the prize.
Now I just have to decide what I want to purchase. I am leaning towards a DVD… maybe Donnie Darko: The Director’s Cut. Then again, Need For Speed: Pro Street comes out in less than two weeks…
What would YOU buy?

Please bear with me as I am experimenting with a new blog layout. Things will probably look pretty jacked up for a bit…

If you noticed, I recently added the DealDotCom.com Widget to the sidebar of the blog. The widget is offered by BlueFur Webhosting and allows you to fully customize it to fit your blog’s theme. All clicks from the widget are directed with your referral ID, which gives you a much better chance of picking up new affiliates and in turn, making more money!
OCIA.net has teamed up with one of our sponsors, CoolIT Systems to bring everyone another great contest! This month, we will be giving one lucky winner a prize package featuring three of CoolIT’s best-selling accessories as well as $50.00 in COLD HARD CASH!

USB Beverage Chiller

RAM Fan

PCI Cooling Booster

This contest is all about expanding the OCIA.net Forum by recruiting new members. Simply ask your friends and family to join the OCIA.net Forum and post a reply to the Contest Thread telling everyone who recruited them!
This is the perfect type of contest where you could use your blog or website and leverage your traffic to help you win! One forum member is already doing this! If he wins, he plans to take the prizes back to his forum and hold another contest - great idea!
I look forward to seeing some of my blogging buddies over in the forum real soon. Good luck everyone!

Fellow blogger and tech site owner Bob Buskirk was the very first person to receive an OCIA.net t-shirt. Well actually, I received the first production sample but they sent me a size that was too small, so I sent it over to Bob. Bob talked to his girlfriend Ashley and she was nice enough to pose for some pictures.
Thanks again to Bob and Ashley for the pics. Don’t forget, I am still running my t-shirt promotion! If you purchase a shirt, take a picture of yourself wearing it and post it on your blog, I will give you a FREE link back and also send you $5 via Paypal to help cover the expenses (shirts are only $12.99 each)! So, you get a cool t-shirt and a free link back all for just $7.99 !
