This is a picture of the ceiling in the lobby of the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. I took this picture while we were waiting for someone to escort us to the OCZ Technology / Shuttle Overclockerfest party. I just aimed the camera upwards and started snapping… pretty neat!
Only in the south will you find a Chevelle SS with a lift kit, huge tires… oh, and a lawn mower parked under it! I took this picture on a trip to Florida last summer with my friend Adam. Apparently the owner has a thing for jacked up rides, as he also had a Bronco with even larger tires!
I took this picture at THE WORLD FAMOUS’ house sometime last year. I couldn’t help but get a quick laugh from this fridge magnet lol.
Sometimes simplicity works best. I took this picture last year and although its just some leaves on a tree, I really like how the colors turned out!
I took this picture yesterday here on campus. You can see the campus library in the background. I was hoping that the sun would go down faster, as I wanted to get some slow-shutter pics of the fountain, but I had to head back home before that happened. I was planning on trying again today, but with the cold front that moved in last night, its nearly 30 degrees colder outside; screw that!
Maybe iPod vending machines are the norm where you are from, but for me, a guy from Mississippi… we don’t have things like this here and all I could think was “that’s awesome!”. I found this neat vending machine at one of the casinos in Vegas. I guess they figure if you are to hit the jackpot, the first thing you’d wanna buy is in iPod!
This is a picture of a statue in front of the “Old Chemistry” building here on campus. The lighting came out really neat in this picture. As for the statue, I honestly have no idea what it is lol. My guess is some kind of abstract art. Perhaps i’ll swing by and check it out when I go check the mail today.
I took this picture last fall here on campus. I set up my camera using a tripod and pointed it at this intersection. The intersection is the main intersection coming into campus. You can see the famous tailgater’s heaven known as “The Grove” in the background. The picture was taken at sunset using a slow shutter speed to get the cool light streaks from cars passing by.
This is another picture I took during my trip to Vegas back in January. Las Vegas has some of the best photo opportunities of any city, and I hope next year that I will have a little more time for sight-seeing / picture taking!

This is a picture of the student union here on campus. I copied the setup for this shot from a picture that my photography teacher took which is in rotation on the school website. I set up in the same area and tried to make a similar picture. His is much better than mine, however lol. So, while I physically took this picture myself, I don’t take credit for coming up with the idea.
