Every so often, some random group of religious fanatics find their way to the Ole Miss campus. The themes are usually the same: attract as much attention as possible by saying something completely outrageous then engage in arguments with students. This goes on for hours until the group leaves and returns the next day.
Reactions are usually mixed. Some people just stand by, listen and talk to each other. But, there are always those that speak up for their beliefs…
These are the people that make it entertaining! I could sit and watch these arguments for hours, it just cracks me up. I only caught the last 20 minutes or so of todays action, but I will say that my personal favorite thus far was the chant of “BULLSHIT!” from the students, all the while campus cops just stood by with a grin on their face.
