Yep, it’s official: I am no longer tied to my old apartment. Sarah and I cleaned and moved out the last bit of things today before I turned in my key. Of course, it didn’t go as smoothly as planned.
I was betting on this guy I know picking up the entertainment center, since he told me he wanted to buy it. That is why I left it at the old apartment instead of moving it to storage. To make a long story short, he didn’t pick it up… which means I was left to figure out what to do with it.
I didn’t have access to a truck to move it to storage, and I didn’t want to just leave it there or drag it out to the dumpster. Then it hit me: take it apart and move it to storage! I am not sure why I didn’t think of that before (yes, I’m not that bright at times). So yeah, that is what we did. Guess I learned my lesson about depending on other people
