Keith picked up his Mustang from the shop today. Below is a post, directly from him:
“Well she’s finally back from the shop. The custom cam I got was designed to give me a lot of low end torque so I could have fun on the street a little. I was kind of disappointed in the HP numbers but the TQ was outstanding. Mods include:
K&N cone filter
76mm MAF + intake elbow
75mm TB
Trickflow upper/lower intake
24 lb injectors
Kirban FPR
GT40P heads
Custom Ed Curtis cam
Lunati (?) Roller Rockers
BBK LT headers
O/R H pipe + flowmasters
3.55 gears
03 Cobra Trac Lok
31 spline axles
Diablosport chip + tune
The car made 227 HP and 270 TQ on a mustang dyno. The TQ curve was very flat, which does make for some fun on the street. The car is a blast to drive. The HP numbers bother me, but we shall see what it does on the track. Here’s a little idle video. It may have crappy numbers, but it sure sounds mean!”
