I talked to Keith earlier and he let me know that he got the ‘Stang back earlier today. So, in recap, here is the full list of mods installed thus far: Flowmaster Super 40 Catback Exhaust, MAC Prochamber, MAC 1 5/8″ LT Headers, JLT Cold Air Intake, 3.73 Rear Gears, Eibach Pro Kit Lowering Springs and 18″ Black Chrome Bullitt Wheels (275/35ZR18 Tires).
The shop where he had the most recent work done dyno’ed the car at 246 HP / 283 lbs.-ft. with all mods before the SCT X-Calibrator 2 dyno tune. Final results to the wheels after the tune: 255 HP / 297 lbs.-ft.. Ford rates the 2004 GT at 260 HP / 302 lbs.-ft., of course these numbers are rated at the flywheel and are rarely accurate.
The Memphis Motorsports Park should be opening up here in the next month or so and we will get to see what kind of 1/4 mile numbers the GT can lay down. Keith is hoping to hit low 13’s but even he admits his driving skills need improvement lol.
