Yep, it’s almost that time again. Much like a computer enthusiast is constantly looking to upgrade his/her computer, the same can be said for Keith and his Stang. After all, it is NEVER fast enough 
The mods this time around include:
Accufab 75mm Throttle Body. Keith picked up this brand new throttle body for a mere $50.00! These throttle bodies usually sell for over $200.00 so I would say he got a heck of a deal. This throttle body allows more air to be sucked into the motor. The stock throttle body is 65mm, so this one is a full 10mm larger. More air = good!
PRO 50 Short-Throw Shifter. He picked up this shifter used for $100.00 from someone parting out their car. This shifter replaces the stock shifter and will shorten the distance between each gear, allowing you to shift faster when racing.
Neither part is installed just yet. He is waiting on installing the throttle body until he can purchase a matching plenum, which is another part that sends more air to the intake. And for the shifter, he just needs a handle. All of this will have to wait though, as he is still feeling the sting from the last set of mods lol.
These mods won’t make it onto the car before its debut at the track on April 17th. Not a big deal, because it will give him a baseline time so he will know how effective these mods were once he runs it afterwards.
