The current site is html based. I have been brainstorming here today and came up with a few things that I know I want in the new layout.
- fixed width
- top ad spot for 468×60 banner
- central content area for 4-5 latest reviews/articles
- news content under that
- sidebar for latest forum posts
- sidebar for latest blog posts
- sidebar for shoping.com ads
- sidebar for a poll (voting system)
- in-content area for ads (google adsense and shopping.com)
A good example of the general layout I have in mind is something like my friend Bob from ThinkComputers:

No, I don’t want to copy him exactly, but you get the idea as far as ad layout, etc.
This is about as far as I know at the moment. It’s pretty vague, yes, but I am horrible with concepts and my creativity is garbage. That’s why I need a designer / graphic artist / coder. Keep in mind I am looking for the entire package, not just a new graphic layout - everything, layout, logo, back end, the whole nine yards.

creating a site like that or any really that handles reviews/articles etc would take a good deal in back-end programming with like PHP or (shudder) ASP.
One day I plan on doing one, I love php programming and such its soo fun
