Apparently I didn’t learn my lesson a few weeks ago when a Coke got too cold in my fridge and exploded. Yesterday after getting back from the football game (horrible loss btw), I put a canned Coke in the freezer to chill it quickly.
Then, I forgot about it… until this morning. Yes, you know the rest.

Maybe you suffered from short term memory loss and that is why you put more soda in the freezer.
Lol, I’ve done that more than I care to admit with throwing a can in the freezer for a quick chill and then forgetting about it.
Next time put the can in a little pitcher/bucket and add some ice, salt and water. You’ll have a cold drink in about 2 minutes. I’ve yet to actually try this but it does work from everything I have read.
