The Longest Yard tells the tale of Paul Crewe (played by Adam Sandler). Crewe is a former football quarterback who finds himself in prison and is forced to play on the cell block football team. Crewe must put together a worthwhile team from his cell mates to play against the guards in annual guards vs inmates game.
This movie had its funny moments, but for the most part I was pretty let down. Maybe it’s just me, but all of Adam Sandler’s movies seem to be going down hill lately. I wouldn’t even bother checking out this one unless you are a true Sandler fan 
I give The Longest Yard 5 out of 10 stars.
