Two more review items made their way to my place this week. First, the Western Digital 320GB MyBook. The MyBook is an external hard drive that comes with built-in backup software so you will never lose your important music, picture or system files to a hard drive crash! I’ve lost important files in the past and it is NOT fun. Luckily I still have most of my emails… dating back to 2001 hah.
The TVisto is somewhat similar to the MyBook in that it is an external drive, but the similarities end there. The the TVisto, you can load your favorite movies, music and pictures onto a drive (not included) then connect it straight to your home theater system for playback. The TVisto has built-in software to control the interface, making it very easy to work with.
