Nickelback Concert

null

Last night we went to the Nickelback concert at the FedEx Forum in Memphis. Puddle of Mudd opened the show, followed by Chris Daughtry.

The show started at 7 p.m. and we arrived around 7:15 or so. As you can see, there was a long line, but we were able to bypass all of that heh.

Once inside and seated, we caught the last few songs from Puddle of Mudd. I am not terribly familiar with their music, but I did know the last couple of songs they performed. They seemed to put on a good show and had the crowd going.

After the set change, Daughtry came out and put on a good show. I had seen him at Beale Street Music Fest and honestly thought his show there was better, but I guess it could have been the crowd too.

Next up was Nickelback. This was my first time seeing them live and WOW did they put on a show! I’ve been to my share of concerts but this performance totally blew anything else (Disturbed, Godsmack, Hinder, etc.) totally out of the water. I don’t want to spoil anything for those who may be going to a show on their current tour, but you won’t be disappointed. The music / drum bass was absolutely insane, pyro’s rocked and they played the crowd very well, even hurling probably 100 or so cups of beer to the crowd.

Overall a great show. If you are a Nickelback fan, I’d highly suggest checking out their show if they come to a city near you!
