KattiKawn was nice enough to spend the day helping me get stuff packed up for the move on Sunday — er, wait, make that Monday.
We had originally planned to do the move on Sunday since that was the only day Keith would be off work. But, his boss changed his schedule today so now he has to work Sunday. No worries, however, as he now has Monday off and we will do the moving then. This is good I suppose as now I can attend all three days of the Beale Street Music Fest.
Anyway, I was pretty surprised that it didn’t take longer than it did to get things packed up. Maybe that is because we tossed a ton of stuff lol. Either way, all that is left is my computer stuff, bed, futon, couch and entertainment center (which is “pre-sold”). I am going to try and pick up the key for the new place tomorrow and pay the first month’s rent. The weekend is shaping up to be pretty busy - that’s a change for the better!
