We checked into our hotel around 3 p.m. today (Friday). We decided to stay at Paradise Found instead of the Best Western that we had reserved in Ft. Walton Beach.
Gotta make sure the beds are heavy duty!
Once we got unpacked, we went to check out the first pool area (with a bar, score!) then headed out to the beach. We thought it would be cool to dig a deep hole. Here you can see Adam, “King of the Castle”.
Being buried in sand was not cool… talk about a serious case of claustrophobia. I could feel the blood pumping through my legs with each heart beat; very odd.
I didn’t quite make in time for the sunset… maybe tomorrow.
After the beach, we decided to take a quick dip in the second pool. This place has an outdoor “theater” complete with free drinks, pizza, popcorn and cookies
