I recently came across a really cool program to use with my Treo 700p Smartphone that I thought would be interesting to share here today. The program in question is from a company called June Fabrics PDA Technology Group who specialize in custom Pda software. I have been using their PdaNet program for several months and absolutely love it! PdaNet allows you to use your Pda-enabled phone as a wireless high speed modem (granted your Smartphone is capable of this). I use PdaNet with my Treo700p quite a bit. It comes in very handy on vacations or road trips, such as the one we took in January to the 2007 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
PdaReach is another great product from June Fabrics. This program displays real-time content from your Smartphone on your computer screen and allows you to interact with the phone using your keyboard and mouse, just like any regular Windows program. Once installed on your Smartphone, simply connect the phone to your computer using your Sync cable and activate the program from the phone.

This is what the program looks like on my computer. You can fine-tune it to fit your liking, such as only displaying the screen and changing the skins, as seen below.

As you can see, there are several options to allow you to fully customize the program to your liking. So why would you be interested in a program like this?

If you communicate via text messages frequently like I do, PdaReach is a dream come true. Simply connect your phone, open the program, and type away using the keyboard instead of the tiny keypad on the phone.

You can do almost everything from PdaReach that you can do through the regular interface, with the exception of playing video files. In the above picture, I was scrolling through my applications list using the mouse
If you think a program like this would make your life easier, I encourage you to take a look at what June Fabrics has to offer.
