Things really pick up for me this time of year. Q4 sees a lot of new products hitting the market in time for the holiday buying season. My tech site is often asked to review many of the new products from the sponsors that we work with.
This is great, in the fact that we get to share all of these new products with our readers. Myself and my staff have been working our tails off the past two months, trying to keep up with all of the new products hitting the market.
In September, we published a record-setting 14 articles/reviews; that is equivalent to one new publication every other day! I had high hopes of breaking this record in October but I knew it would be tough. Thankfully, I have some really great guys that write for the site and we were able to beat this record by producing 15 reviews last month!
Of course with increased output, you gain more traffic and in turn, more sponsors/review opportunities and more advertising revenue. I aim to break last months record this month… can we really produce 16 reviews in a single month? Only time will tell…
I also plan to try and update this blog more often. It is hard to find time to do that when OCIA.net takes up the majority of my time, but I will certainly try!
