Ask anyone that makes a considerable amount of money, and they will tell you that it isn’t how much money you make that is important; it’s how much you give.

The Union Gospel Mission has been around since 1940. Located in metro Vancouver, the mission has been helping those who are hungry, hurting and homeless ever since. Easter is just around the corner and my friend John Chow is once again doing a fund-raiser for the Union Gospel Mission’s Easter Meal Drive. Last year, John matched his readers donations and raised over $1,000 for the meal drive!
This year is no different, as John has once again set out to raise money for this year’s Easter Meal drive and will again be personally matching donations up to $1,000. This gives you the opportunity to double your donation and really make a difference for someone this Easter holiday!
You can make your donation online at UGM’s website. Afterwards, forward your receipt to johnchow@johnchow.com so he can match your donation. All donations are tax deductible.
A full meal cost only $2.59, barely pocket change for most of us. I encourage you to give what you can and think about those less fortunate. Remember, people are hungry every day, not just during Thanksgiving and Christmas.
