I usually make a post in the OCIA.net Forums about new product samples I get in for review, but I decided to change it up and bit and post them here instead. Maybe I will make a habit of making a weekly “upcoming reviews” post here, we’ll see. Anyway, first up…
a SilverStone Olympia 1000 watt Power Supply. This unit boasts a single 80A +12v rail as opposed to using multiple smaller rails, four 6-pin PCI-E cables and two 8-pin PCI-E cables.
Razer sent over their new DeathAdder infrared gaming mouse. We first saw this mouse at Razer’s Booth during CES. The DeathAdder has five programmable buttons, adjustable on-the-fly dpi settings, teflon feet and an 1800 dpi infrared sensor.
Last but not least we have the RAM Fan from CoolIT. CoolIT intended to give these away to members of the press at CES but a last-minute hold-up with customs prevented the RAM Fan from making it to the show on time. Anyway, the RAM Fan is designed to clip on to all standard DIMMs. The fan provides active cooling for your memory and surrounding components.
Once I get my computer back, or new one, I’ll have to get me one of those :p
